GTABoom: GTA VI fans are buying non-working replica disc box sets

GTABoom reports that sellers in China are offering unofficial PS5-style box sets for Grand Theft Auto VI, in both Standard and Ultimate Edition versions. The sets come with replica cases, printed artwork and a Blu-ray disc that does not work. The site says sellers openly describe them as "commemorative set models" with no playable data, and that some fans on social media say they have ordered one anyway.

GTABoom links the demand to its account of the official release, which it says ships as a download code in a box rather than on a disc. It argues that collectors who want something to shelve next to older GTA cases have nothing official to fill that gap. The site also notes that the listings sit in a legal gray area and could be pulled at any time. It points to Rockstar's licensed Goodtime State Vice City Collection box set, which it says costs around $399 and does not include the game.
